Following on from the success of our first 2 meetings to develop and grow a Dorset-wide working waste group working in partnership with Sustainable Cerne Valley and the 4RFuture Initiative, we now have some 63 active members of this group ranging from the many established waste groups across Dorset, to individuals who wish to be involved, share and learn best practice.

Our monthly online meetings explore initiatives already up and running in Dorset, and work to develop similar methods to further reduce landfill throughout the county. Working as a Team, or Group, we can have more impact. We will see successful initiatives start to be implemented in further areas of Dorset, and we will work together as a county wide group to do our best collectively and collaboratively to reduce, re-use, recycle and refuse.

Both Dorset and BCP Councils are involved in this initiative and attend all meetings.
