Fundraising As a non-profit voluntary organisation, we depend on Donations and Grants to run our core operations and Projects. Our Fundraising team has managed to secure some much-needed and crucial funding this year. Thank you to all the generous private donations and the organisations that have kindly supported our work through grants over the last year. You can view our donors and grant givers at the bottom of our homepage. We are always in need of more funding, and keep a lookout for new grants to suit our projects. If you are interested in helping us by joining the fundraising team, please do get in touch!
Charity Governance & Trustees. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Trustee and what it entails, please email dorsetcan@gmail.com.
Events We hold regular online events coordinated by our teams (on Zoom) which are open to our members and cover subjects such as Rivers and Beaches, Clean Energy, Greenwashing, Waste, Retrofit, and Food Resilience. All our events are recorded and can be viewed here. We actively take part in fetes and festivals all over Dorset throughout the year to promote Dorset CAN and our projects.
Membership, Branding, Media, and Comms Behind the scenes, we work hard to keep our members and the public aware of our work, including events and project updates. Our interactive website, social media channels, newsletters, and all communications help to keep our members and the public informed of our activities.
