BUILDING COMMUNITY WASTE INITIATIVES
OPEN ZOOM EVENT - Thursday 3rd April - 7pm-8:30pm
How community initiatives have successfully processed materials which are difficult or impossible to reuse or recycle using existing methods.
- This zoom event by Dorset CAN and Sustainable Cerne Valley will explore initiatives already up and running in Dorset, and how we can develop similar methods to further reduce landfill throughout the county.
- Enabling individuals and groups to make a real difference in their own town or village through community action with our Council’s support.
- Sharing ideas, Developing best practice, Measuring results, Scaling up success.
A chance to network and build links with other groups involved in waste, including individuals and groups who are interested in making more of a difference in their town or village. Share common practise and build ideas.
Presentations will be followed by Q&A and a chance to share your own initiatives, ideas and views.
