On February 23, 2026 the Feeding Dorset Partnership, hosted by DorsetCAN, held an Open Zoom Event called Making Food Resilience Irresistible! Discussing how to connect effectively with people and communities.
Following inspiring introductions to 2 local projects, Tumbledown in Weymouth and Edible Bridport, Jon Sloper from helpandkindness who are leading on the Feeding Dorset Partnership offered a comprehensive update of the FDP’s work in 2025 and its intentions to network and to support the many wonderful food activities and stories throughout Dorset during 2026. The six key areas that the Feeding Dorset Partnership work with can be found here.
Excellent questions and the subsequent discussions in break out rooms provided several insights into what can help draw people into engaging with food matters.
